Orville H. Ruggles, Jr.

By | December 4, 2012

Our beloved brother was tired after a 25-year battle in his life following a horrendous car crash all those years ago. The good Lord has called him home and now he is at rest. During all that he endured, the pain and suffering at such a young age, he always had that infectious smile and a joke ready to make sure you smiled too. He will forever be loved and forever missed.

Orville Harold Ruggles passed from this life to his Heavenly home on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012. Orville was born July 25, 1971 to Orville Ruggles Sr. and Mary Ellen Bright Ruggles in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Ola Bright; paternal grandparents, Walter Ruggles and Bertha Morrison Ruggles; and brothers, Raymond and James Ruggles.

Left to cherish his memory are sisters, Kim Ruggles Hileman of Portsmouth, Ohio, Debra Howard Craft of West Portsmouth, Ohio, Dottie Rice of Portsmouth, Ohio, Sarah Gilliland of Jackson, Ohio, Rachel Gilliland Morrison of Jackson, Ohio, Patty Hatfield of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Judy Thomas of New York.
