Orpha Maye (Hunsinger) Lambert, age 95, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Four Winds of Jackson. She was born September 30, 1918 in Jackson, Ohio to the late John Peter and Jessie (Horton) Hunsinger.
Orpha was an RN, and was active in several civic organizations throughout the years. She was also an active lifelong member of the Jackson Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Julina (Walter) Luhrman; grandchildren, Alex (Angela) Luhrman and Peter Luhrman; great-grandson, Warren Luhrman; a sister-in-law, Grace Compston; and her brother-in-law, David J. (Judy) Lambert.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, John W. Lambert; sisters, Mary Ann Erwin and Ida J. Hunsinger; and a brother, Carl Hunsinger.
Friends may call at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 12 to 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin immediately after at 2 p.m. with Janie Karl officiating.
