Neysea Jill Huffman Kemp, age 69, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at her home. She was born Feb. 12, 1950 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Vaughn H. and Roberta Gettles Huffman.
Jill was a 1968 graduate of Wellston High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Columbus Business University. She was the former office manager at Sands Hill Coal Company, where she was employed for over 30 years. Jill enjoyed golfing and fishing, but most of all, she loved family time and watching her grandchildren play sports.
Jill is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert H. “Bob” Kemp; sons and daughters-in-law, Rob and Julie Kemp and Matt and Toni Kemp, all of Wellston; grandchildren, R.J., Alyvia, Bodie and Cole; brothers, Jack Huffman (Bonny) of Wellston and John Bethel of Chillicothe; uncle, Jim Gettles (Donna) of Wellston; aunt, Mary Lou Montgomery of Wellston; along with several nieces, nephews, close cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Jill was preceded in death by her brother, Russ Bethel.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.
