Nelda E. (Turner) Rosebrock, age 91, of Columbus, formerly of Oak Hill, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at home in Columbus. She was born January 8, 1927 in Slocum Station, Ohio to the late Ethreadge C. and Shirley F. (Shumate) Turner.
She was active in the Senior Citizens of Oak Hill and volunteered whenever she could for Meals on Wheels with her husband. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, Sudoku, sewing and needle work.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Gerald Rosebrock; daughters, Nancy and Carol Sue; brother, Roger; and sister, Violet Turner.
She is survived by her son, Jerry (Marlyne) Rosebrock, of Columbus; granddaughter, Samantha Markin; four great grandchildren, Kayla Wolfe, Brittany Frangella and Aaron and Charley Markin. Also surviving are four great great grandchildren, her brother, Roger Turner; nephews, Rick, Ron and Randall Turner; niece, Delores Siah and numerous other family and friends.
Friends may call Monday, August 20, 2018 from 11:00 – 2:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tim Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
