Mildred E. Salyers, age 77, of Jackson, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Mildred was born in Franklin County, Ohio June 14, 1936 to the late Grover and Florence Lewis Wilcox.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Salyers Jr.; an infant daughter and two sisters.
She is survived by daughters, Donna (Bub) Roseberry of Vinton, Ohio, Beverly (Brint) McGowan of Ray, Ohio and Millie (Phillip) Russell of Germany; sons, Dan (Pam) Salyers of Kentucky, Mike (Tess) Salyers of Florida and Eric (Terri) Salyers of Middleport; 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well many friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Jorge Anido officiating and burial to follow in the Hickman Cemetery.
