Michael Ray “Mike” Gussler

Michael Ray “Mike” Gussler, age 58, of Lucasville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was born May 22, 1962 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Robert Ray Gussler and Fern M. Rowland Gussler. 

Mike was employed in the shipping and receiving department at Yusa Corporation, where he was employed for 15 years.  Mike absolutely loved riding motorcycles.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife and family. 

He is survived by his wife, Tiffany G. Taylor Gussler; children, Jessica Rose (Brian) of Oak Hill, Jennifer Boggs of Wellston, Aubrey Taylor of Washington C.H., Jason Mitchell (Amanda) of Frankfort and Braxton Taylor of Washington C.H.; grandchildren, McKenzi, Terryn, Gavyn, Serenity, Katie, Emilee, Devon and Serina; brother, Bobby Gussler (Holly) of Ray; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by son-in-law, Sean Boggs; and sisters, Cynthia Gussler and Patty Hamilton Morris. 

Calling hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor J.D. Stevens officiating.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. 

In Mike’s honor, the family requests that those attending wear Harley-Davidson attire.  For those choosing to attend the services, facial coverings are required inside the building along with the practice of social distancing at this time.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funerahome.com
