Mary Lou attended Vinton County High School and then graduated from Wellston High School with the Class of 1965.  She was a former waitress at Lee and Helen’s Restaurant in Wellston for several years and was also a former assistant manager at Main Express in Coalton.  When her husband, Jim, retired, Mary Lou stopped working but continued to stay busy by volunteering at Bundy Elementary in Wellston.

Fain III; sons, Hager Fain (Tina) of Wellston and Steven Fain (Avonlee) of Coalton; grandchildren, Justin, Adriana, Ava and Rory Fain; siblings, Dick Remy of Allensville, Jim Remy (Jena) of McArthur, Linda Coffey (Brock) of Wellston and Roger “Bim” Remy (Betty) of Coalton; sisters-in-law, Kaye Moore (John) of McArthur and Christy Bishop (Charles) of Hamden; along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Thomas and Bill Remy; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Remy.

In keeping with Mary Lou’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation will take place.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mary Lou’s memory be given to the Leukemia Society, Donor Services, P. O. Box 98018, Washington, D.C. 20090-8018.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
