Mary E. Wilson, age 82, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Four Winds Nursing Facility, Jackson. She was born in Murray City, Ohio, January 28, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nannie (Johnson) Sorrell; husband, Roger Wilson; son, Michael Wilson; six brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by one son, Gregory Wilson of Tennessee; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, the Intercessary Prayer Group and was a volunteer at the VA Hospital, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Funeral service will be Saturday, January 12 at 11 a.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Gregory Wilson officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
