Martin Chester “Chet” Eldridge, age 89, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at SOMC in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born Jan. 12, 1931 in Blaine, Kentucky to the late John Clinton and Pearlie May (Vanover) Eldridge.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Jean (Jerry) Burton, Charlotte (Mose) Norman, and Tracey (Steve) Little; sons, Eric Eldridge and Shannon (Kathy) Eldridge; 12 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Martin Chester Eldridge, Jr.; daughter, Valerie Eldridge; granddaughter, Lyndsay Eldridge; sisters, Ellery Hay and Eldene Stonerock; and brothers: Willard, Paul, Gene, Kenneth, Don, and Darrell Eldridge.
Chet was a life-long member of the Eagles Lodge 1546 in Jackson and enjoyed playing euchre with his friends.
