Mark Alan Metters, age 28, of Jackson, Ohio left us unexpectedly on Friday, May 7th, 2021. He was born June 18th, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio to Larry Mark Metters and Angela Marie Rollins, both of whom survive.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his loving companion, Kendra Tolliver, whom he not only spent his last days with but was looking forward to a promising future as well. They both were free-spirited, down to earth people who shared their love of the outdoors and their dogs, Betsy and Harper. He is also survived by his loving sister, Cierra (Chase) Carroll; grandmother, Sharlene Rollins; uncle, Grant Alan Metters; aunt, Lisa Kay; uncle, Patrick Wayne; nephew, Colton Robert; nieces, Calli Marie and Camryn Jean; and cousins, Heather Marie, Alyssa, Hayley, and Anthony Meginnis, Aiden and Alana Johnson, and Rue Stafford.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Skip and Dorothy Metters, and Burl “Fred” Rollins; uncle, Frederick James; and cousin, Timmy Lee.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 from 6PM-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
