Marjorie “Mick” Ann Jackson

Marjorie “Mick” Ann Jackson, 88, of Wellston, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. She was born on January 20, 1928 in Jackson, Ohio, daughter of the late Cecil and Bessie (Bell) Richards.

Marjorie was a 1946 graduate of Coalton High School. She worked for many years as a cook at Huston’s Nursing Home in Hamden and while her health allowed she enjoyed word puzzles and visiting with family.

She is survived by her loving family: brothers, Bob (Mary Lou) Richards of Lima; Donnie (Jenny) Richards of Ray; sisters, Patsy Arthur of Florida, Linda Hubbard of Lima, Peggy Rose of Columbus, and Nina Sue Luster of Springfield; special friend, Virginia Ward of Wellston; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil Jr., Harold, and Ivan Richards; and two sisters, Jean Greiner and Mary Lee Hale.

A graveside service celebrating Marjorie’s life was held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Coalton. Pastor Andy Rawlins officiated.
