Marjorie E. Maloy

Marjorie E. Maloy, age 88, of Hamden, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 22, 2013, from the Edgewood Manor of Wellston. She was born May 12, 1924 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Milton Cantor and Geloma Nance Cantor Aldridge Binkley.

Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Wellston High School. She was a former school bus driver for the Vinton County School District and was a loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and devoted Christian and pastor’s wife.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Rebecca June Maloy of Wellston and Tim (Kathy) Maloy of Hamden; three grandchildren, T.J., Marcus and Talitha, and her foster daughter, Betty Molihan Libby of Wellston.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rev. A. B. Maloy; her father who raised her, Hoy Aldridge, and her brother, Milton “Bob” Cantor.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastors Troy Ervin, Richard Moore, Bob Porter and Kenneth Libby officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
