Mandy Hill Ewing

Mandy Hill Ewing, age 38, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at her home. She was born June 23, 1978 in Gallipolis, Ohio.

Mandy, a 1996 graduate of Wellston High School, received an Occupational Therapist Assistant’s Degree from Shawnee State University and was employed as an OTA at several area nursing and rehab facilities. Mandy was a woman of great faith who enjoyed life to its fullest. She was an avid bowler, a pool shark, enjoyed riding motorcycles and vacationing with her sisters, and could beat anyone at a game of corn hole. But above all, Mandy valued her family and friends and time spent with them. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 371 of Wellston.

Mandy is survived by her father, Damon L. Hill of Wellston and mother, Anita L. Gilliland Henricks of Wellston; children, Melissa Welch Neville (Corbin) of Maryland, Kayla Ewing Landrum (Jarod) of Jackson, and Jordan Brewer, Morgan Brewer, Jase Ewing and Aiden Ewing, all of Wellston; she was Mi Mi to Caleb and Jaysalyn Landrum; siblings, Cory Hill, Tami Fox, Fawn Hill-Norton, Missy Thacker, Lisa Rosetta, Casey Good, Melinda Matteson, Kelly Franco, Damon Hill, Tommy Tucker, Bobby Hill, Lee Hill, Larry Queen and Michael Cantrell; close friend and sister, Jennifer Jones, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mandy’s husband, Roger Ewing, also passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mom, Debbie Hill; grandparents, Frank and Nannie Hill and George Gilliland and Anna Bell Collins; and siblings, Rona Marie Hill, Shane Hill, Bobbie Jo Hill and Billy Gilliland.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Strange officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
