Local “Tea Lady” Lori Slack Moore went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 14th, 2016 at the age of 51. She was born on June 15th, 1965 in Marietta, Ohio. She is the daughter of Larry and Pam Slack of Lowell, Ohio.

Lori is survived by her loving husband, Charlie; her daughter, Shaya Massey; step-sons, Jason (Karen) Moore, and Evan Moore; two sisters, Amy (Brad) Hall and Megan Slack; grandson, Trevor Moore; nieces and nephews: Bryce Slack, Hayden, Hunter, Hannah, and Hudson Hall. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Slack.

Lori’s dream was to create a place to gather and enjoy in friendship and minister. Her pride in her “communitea” enabled her to be the founder of the “Father-Daughter Gala.”

Through the years, her business flourished. From the outpouring support and kind words of those who knew Lori, and everything that the Tea Caddy represents, her dream came true.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tea Caddy of Jackson, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfuneralhomes.com
