Lillian Lucille Sprague, age 88, of Jackson, passed away on February 4, 2013, at the Four Winds Nursing Facility. She was born on March 8, 1924 in Jackson County, the daughter of the late William J. and Ruth Lucas.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Delbert V. Jones; her second husband, Harold Sprague; as well as two sisters, Eva Leach and Marie Farrar; one brother, Raymond Lucas, and two step-sons, Gerald (Buddy) Jones and Jack Jones.
She is survived by two sons, Edwin (Jayne) Jones of Jackson and Matt Sprague of Wellston; grandchildren, Loren Jones of Wellston and Katelyn Wallace of West Virginia, Dale (Vicki) Woerner of Scottown, and Brad Dillinger of Jackson; two step daughters-in-law, Loretta Jones and Lou Jones of Jackson; several great-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and one nephew.
Lillian was a long-time member of the American Legion Auxiliary as well as the Keystone Women’s Club.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson with Rev. Wendell Vermillion officiating. Viewing will be from hours prior to the service.
