Lillian Clarice Figgins

Lillian Clarice Figgins, affectionately known as “Gang Gan” by her grandchildren, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in her hospital bed at Mercy Clermont Hospital in Batavia, Ohio on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Lillian was born in Ironton, OH on July 8, 1946 to the late Donna and Earl “Bus” Keels. She was known as a very generous and outgoing woman.

Lillian attended Blackfork-Washington-Decatur School in Blackfork, OH where she made many friends. She came to know the Lord at an early age and was saved, baptized, and became a member of the Union Baptist Church when she was a young girl. Lillian married Marshall Figgins on July 8, 1978 and together they had one son, Thomas Kent Figgins. She loved her family and was very proud of their accomplishments. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren.

Left to mourn is her son, Thomas; and grandchildren, Jared, Mariah, Emma and Braden. Lillian will be greatly missed by everyone.

Friends may call Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Union Baptist Church in Blackfork. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Cemetery.
