Larry Thomas Wallace

Larry Thomas Wallace, age 73, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020 at Oakwood Community Health of Jackson. He was born April 12, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Thomas J. and Dorothy F. (Allen) Wallace.

Larry is survived by his wife, Karen (Staley) Wallace; daughter, Bobbi (Lee) VanAllen; grandchildren: Cody Heft, Abby VanAllen (Aaron Jones), Nathan VanAllen, Austin VanAllen, Brandon Wallace, Londyn Wallace, and Cole Barry; aunt, Joan Davis; cousin, Donna Snyder; and numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin T. Wallace; aunt, Almeda Wallace; and cousin, Dennis Wallace.

Larry was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and Southern Ohio Manpower Technical & Training Center where he studied Drafting Engineering. He was a former employee of Aluchem and was a member of the Portland Masonic Lodge #366 F&AM.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020 at 6 p.m. with Rev. Stan Howard officiating at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Friends may greet the family from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
