Kenneth R. Brandt, age 88, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Four Winds Nursing Home of Jackson. He was born March 31, 1926 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to the late Otto and Erma (Ruthmansdorfer) Brandt.
He was a WWII United States Army Air Corps Veteran. He was also a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Karyl H. (Daley) Brandt of Jackson, Ohio; children, Rosemary (Larry) Sullivan of Columbus, Ohio, Donna (Randy) Baker of Jackson, Ohio, Steve Brandt of Georgia, Colleen (Darin) Davis of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Tom (Kelly) Brandt of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Marion Diedrich of Wisconsin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 10, at 10:30 a.m. with Father Joseph John Trapp II officiating. Friends may call at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson on Tuesday, December 9, from 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
