Keith E. “Buck” Canode

Keith E. “Buck” Canode, age 52, a lifelong resident of Hamden, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012, at his home. He was born July 12, 1960 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Harley W. Canode and Ann A. Wilbur Canode.

Keith was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by his parents, Harley and Ann Canode of Wellston; son, Brian Canode of Columbus; daughter, Rachel Canode of Wellston; grandchildren, Destiny Taynor, Kaymen Canode, Bryanna Linton and Makayla Linton; brothers, Denny (Robin) Canode of Jackson, Greg (Lisa) Canode of The Plains and Todd (Sarah) Canode of Clay City, Ky., as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Kevin Canode; grandson, Jason Dominick Creedon, and his grandparents, John and Sylvia Canode and Herb and Ruth Wilbur.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamden Cemetery.
