Kathryn “Helena” Campbell, age 94, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Grant Medical Center of Columbus. She was born July 12, 1924 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Albert and Maude (Slagle) Edwards.
Helena was a former Worthy Matron of the Eastern Stars. She enjoyed tending to her flowers.
She is survived by her son, John Thomas (fiancé, Lisa Steffy) of Waxhaw, North Carolina; special grandson, Ryan Leonard of Oak Hill, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Campbell; her sisters, Marianna Edwards, Alberta (Tom) McNerlin, and Betty Jo Clark all of Oak Hill, Ohio.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at C. M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
