Judy Rose Scott, age 75, of Jackson, Ohio, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020 at the Edgewood Manor in Wellston, Ohio. She was born March 21, 1945 in Jackson, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Laura Browning Strong.
She was united in marriage Feb. 20, 1964 to her husband of 38 years, Tom Scott, who preceded her in death April 17, 2002. Surviving are her children, Lorena Scott of Waverly, Ohio, Melissa (Brian) Bachtel of Jackson, Ohio, Tommy (Pam) Scott of Waverly, Ohio, and Merit Scott of Jackson, Ohio; eight grandchildren, including a special grandson who she raised as a son, Chase (Robin) Doll of Waverly, Ohio; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Edith (Delmas “Bud”) Wiseman of Jackson, Ohio; and a brother, Bill (Linda) Strong of Beaver, Ohio.
Judy graduated from Beaver High School in 1963.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020 at the Cox-Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio with Pastor Steve Nibert officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
