Joyce L. Fout, 73, of McArthur, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur. She was born December 5, 1939 in Richmond Dale, Ohio, daughter of Ruth Eloise Harper of McArthur. Joyce was the widow of the late Edward Lee Fout.
She retired from the Department of Agriculture and was a member of Cornelius Chapel Church in Creola.
She is survived by a son, Bruce (Sharon) Fout of Creola; grandchildren, Mandy Young of McArthur, Nikki (Zachary) Connolly of Racine and Bruce Edward Fout of Columbus and great-grandchildren, Kaci Leigh Young and Ashtyn Jade Connolly.
Joyce was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Renee Fout.
Joyce’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Ferrell Rood officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
