Joseph “Joe” Monroe Caines of Jackson passed away unexpectedly at his home at the age of 41 on Feb. 7, 2021. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Joe was born Jan. 14, 1980 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Angel Caines Sickles and the late Gilbert Caines of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father; grandpa: Raymond White; great-grandmother: Myrte J. Moore; uncle: James A. White; aunt: Linda White; and cousin: Melody Moore.
He is survived by his mother; grandmother: Sandy Moore; grandparents: Jim and Lyla Sickles; brothers: Justin (Tashawna) Caines and Jeremy (Shawna) Caines; nieces and nephews: Keyona, Jahylyn and Breyer Caines, Carmine Crabtree, Kera and Bryson Stover. He was also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends.
Joe had a special little buddy that loved to listen to him play his guitar, Bryson White. As a child, he loved to hunt but as he grew older, music was his life! He loved to play his guitar and sing with anyone who would sit and play with him. He was a very talented musician, his songs and music really got out there.
Joe will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Per the family’s request, a memorial service will be at a later date when his ashes are laid to rest at the Bethel Ridge Cemetery.
