Johnny Farley

Johnny Ray Farley, age 67, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Friday, November 19th, 2021, at Holzer of Gallipolis. He was born June 22nd, 1954, in Williamson, West Virginia to the late Rush and Pearl (Hollandsworth) Farley. 

Johnny was a 1974 graduate of Wellston High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Army and was later employed at General Mills for 36 years. He loved playing horseshoes, hunting, and had been on a bowling team.

Johnny is survived by his siblings: George (Betty) Farley, Patti Dearth, Vangie (James) Martin, Janice Hively, Carrie (Bill) Armstrong, Ellen (Dan) Bergert and Debbie Wires; brother-in-law, Chuck Weaver; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Weaver.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bill Zink officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
