Jim Glandon

Jim Glandon, 67, of Londonderry, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born November 8, 1944, in Vinton County, to the late Owen and Bernice Teeters Glandon. On September 29, 1972, he married the former Judith Chaney who survives.

Also surviving are children, Julie (Larry) Arthur, of Londonderry and Jaime (Drew Willison) Glandon, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, William and Andrew Arthur, Cole Lytle, Keagan and Mamo Willison; brothers, Bob Glandon, of McArthur, Rodger (Jo) Glandon, of Londonderry, Ovid (Elsie) Glandon, of Chillicothe; sisters, Judy (Don) Ollie, of Williamsport, Norma (Elmer) Henderson, of Ray and Betty Baxter, of Londonderry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim will also be missed greatly by his bedside pets, Joey and Zeby. He was predeceased by brothers Estel and Ron Glandon and a sister, Louise Ray.

Jim was the owner and operator of Glandon Forestry.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Londonderry Cemetery with Robert L. Collins officiating. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ware Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Ohio.
