Final plans are being made for the 2013 Jackson High School Alumni Association’s Happening, an annual party open to all JHS alumni, which will follow the Annual Reunion and Program event.

This year’s Happening is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Jackson Area YMCA, located at 594 East Main Street in Jackson. This year’s theme is “The JHS Alumni Happening Goes Wild” and will feature a jungle decor.

The price of admission includes a food buffet and musical entertainment from local DJ Tommy Hill.

Advance tickets cost $20 per person and can be purchased at A.L. Terry Jewelers, located at 214 Broadway Street in downtown Jackson during regular business hours. All tickets at the door will be $25 each.

Checks for advance tickets should be made payable to the Jackson High School Alumni Association and must be purchased by May 20. For information, call JHS Alumni Committee member Nea Stockmeister Henry at 740-418-4135.

The Happening will be preceded that same evening by the Jackson High School Alumni Association’s Reunion and Program, set for a 5:45 p.m. start at the Jackson Middle School auditorium. Admission is free and the public is invited.

The Telegram will be publishing information about the toastmaster and other guest speakers for the JHS Alumni Reunion and Program in upcoming editions.
