Jackson City Library launches new website

By | November 5, 2012

The Jackson City Library is pleased to announce the launch of their brand-new website on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Library Director Laura Thorne has been working with OPLIN (Ohio Public Library Information Network) on creating a more user-friendly site. The site will contain more information for the patrons, including library policies, storytimes, computer classes, and stories on upcoming library events.

The URL for the new website is: www.jacksoncitylibrary.org. “We hope the new web address is easier for our patrons to remember than our old address,” remarked Director Thorne, “We also think the new website is much more informative and easier to use than our old site.”

Patrons will be able to access the online catalog, place holds online, renew materials, and review their materials they have checked out. There is also a mobile app for smartphone users to access the catalog.

Call the library at 286-4111 with any questions or for more information.
