The Jackson High School Alumni Committee is inviting all JHS alumni to become official class patrons for the 2013 Jackson High School Alumni Reunion, which is set for Saturday, May 25.
Class patrons are asked to pay $5 with all the money going to the committee’s annual scholarship(s) which are given to deserving Jackson High School graduating seniors. All business and class patrons will have their names printed in the official program.
Alumni wishing to become class patrons should contact Alumni Committee President Vicki Howell Williams (286-4096), Vice President Pete Wilson (418-4151) or Treasurer Jack Coyan (286-2416). The deadline to become a class patron is April 15.
This year’s reunion program will start at 5:45 p.m., Saturday, May 25, at the Jackson Middle School auditorium. All alumni are welcome and urged to attend. The committee met Monday, February 18 and is actively making plans for the big evening.
As has been the practice in recent years, the reunion program will be followed by a party known as The Happening, which will be from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Jackson Area YMCA. Tickets will cost $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The cost will include an expansive snacks buffet and a DJ.
The Happening is open to all alumni and their guests with a special invitation being issued to classes conducting individual reunions because they are celebrating milestone anniversary years.

Other board members are: Clarence Rice, Patty Markham Howell, Ralph Poetker, Bonnie White Jenkins, Vivian Leedy Bevins, Alyce Smith, Nea Stockmeister Henry, Diana Gibson Lewis, Megan Peters, Melissa McGhee Ball, Dr. Brian Morris, Deanna Bragg Boggs, Sean Garvey, Shane Foster, Molly Seimetz, and Cathy Whaley Garvey.
