Jack Silver Stone

Jack Silver Stone, age 85, passed away at his Jackson County residence on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 4, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Howard Silver Stone and Alma Steeley.

He was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended college at the University of Florida. Jack was a long-time resident of Jackson, Ohio. He was an avid pilot and managed the Jackson County Airport for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Airport Authority.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara Stone; daughter, Heather (Mike) Dailey; son, Brian (Shay) McElfresh; and grandchildren: Garrett and Benjamin Dailey and Madison and Mason McElfresh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, May Stone.
