Jack H. Parker

Jack H. Parker, age 66, of Wellston, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019.  He was born Sept. 24, 1952, in Hamden, Ohio to James Russell Parker and Juanita M. Depue Parker. 

Jack was a 1970 graduate of Vinton County High School and was a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a self-employed truck driver, who enjoyed playing cards, going mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting and watching Western movies on T.V.  Jack was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  He was a member of the VFW Post 9092 in Wellston; the American Legion Post 371 of Wellston and the Eagles in Jackson. 

Jack is survived by his mother, Juanita Parker of Wellston; daughters, Sonya Parker Pollock (Tim) of Logan, Jackie Ann Parker Burnett (Tim) of Oak Hill, Stephanie Parker Cummons (Bill) of Jackson and Kristy Lynn Parker of Wellston; step-daughter, Genny Lynn Dempsey of Jackson; along with several brothers, sisters, grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. 

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Russ Parker; wife, Mary Parker; and several brothers and sisters. 

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service and his body was cremated.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
