Jack A. Stroth

Jack A. Stroth , 87, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away on Friday afternoon, July 6, 2012 at Edgewood Manor of Wellston.

He was born in Wellston on September 2, 1924, son of the late Alfred William Stroth and Bertha Sadler Stroth. He was a 1942 graduate of Wellston High School and a WW II veteran with the rank of Cpl., receiving four Bronze Stars. He and his wife operated Flowerland in downtown Wellston for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Wildman Stroth; one son, Terry ( Gail ) Stroth , of South Carolina; one daughter, Tisha (Keith) Argabright, of Wellston; two grandchildren, Jack Stroth II of Wellston and Mandee Argabright (Chris) Karr of Wellston; two great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Reece Karr; and a sister, Freda Clark, of the Edgewood Manor of Wellston.

Jack requested that cremation follow his passing away, and he also requested no services.
