Irene Foster, age 97 of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Four Winds Nursing Home. She was born in Blackfork, Ohio January 21, 1915 to the late Henry and Floretta (Greendonner) Scott.
She is survived by children, Mary (Tim) Coll of Jackson, Rita Dugan of Columbus, Nancy (Jim) Davis of Pickerington, James (Bette) Foster of McArthur, Ohio, Mike (Candy) Foster of Marietta, Ohio and Cindy (Ray) Miller of Las Vegas, Nev.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Foster; siblings, Viola Jones, Ina Eubanks, Marge Knowles and Charles and James Scott.
Funeral service 3:30 p.m. Wednesday August 1, at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home ( formerly Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home) with Father John Joseph Trapp officiating burial to follow in C.M. Cemetery. Friends may call 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
