Harlan “Nick” “Slim” Campbell, age 78, of Jackson, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born April 11, 1933 to the late John and Violet (Johnson) Campbell in Friendship, Ohio. He was a Korean War Veteran; retired from Big Bear Stores and member of the VFW, Elks, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the Eagles.
He is survived by wife, Ruth (Bandy) Campbell of Jackson; sons, Nick (Mitzi) Campbell of Pickerington, Ohio and Jim (Teresa) Campbell of Waldo, Ohio; grandchildren, Josh and Hannah Campbell of Waldo, Ohio; four brothers and two sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
There will be no calling hours or visitation observed. A graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
