Gregory Lyn “Greg” Erwin, Sr.

Gregory Lyn “Greg” Erwin, Sr., of Jackson passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at his home. He was born Oct. 10, 1962 in Gallipolis to the late Ann L. (DeHart) Erwin and Richard Erwin, Sr.

Greg is survived by his sons, Greg (Andrea) Erwin, Jesse (Latasha) Erwin, Dusty Erwin, all of Jackson and Justin (Bethany) Erwin, of Bedford Virginia; grandchildren, Marli, Caydence, Daisy, Brianne, Braylee, Audreyanna, Justin Jr., Hayden, Bella and Liam; brothers, Rich (Diana) Erwin, of Jackson, Mitch (Cindy) Erwin, of Mount Orab, Ohio, Chuck Erwin, of Jackson and Brad (Valerie) Erwin, of Jackson; aunts, Bonnie Crabtree, Carolyn Lewis and Marjorie Ervin. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Greg graduated from Jackson High School in 1980. After high school he went into logging for a short time and then went to work at Mills Pride as a building manager for about 14 years. After working at Mills Pride, he went to work for Miller Valentine as a maintenance man for about five years and then retired from BrenMar in 2015.

Friends may call Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Bill Zink officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Per CDC and governor guidelines, everyone is required to wear a mask while indoors and practice proper social distancing procedures.
