Granville Setzer, Jr., age 77 of Jackson went to be with our Lord, Friday, August 17, 2012 at Four Winds Nursing Home after a short illness. He was born August 18, 1934 in Ashland, Ky to the late Granville Sr. and Anna (Rice) Setzer.
He is survived by wife Linda (Tudor) Setzer; children, Denise Hanes of Cincinnati, Dianne Hocksta of Cincinnati, son Craig Setzer of Valdosta Ga; brother, George Setzer and wife Janice of Charleston, S.C.. Also surviving are seven step children, Joe Lindamood of Hocking, Tina Lewis of Vinton, Ohio, Patty Keagins of Jackson, Lanna Lively of Bidwell, Dianne Nelson of Muddsock and Lewis Lindamood of Jackson and Robin Skeens of Jackson, Ohio; 23 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son Wayne Setzer.
At his request he will be cremated and a private military and graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
