Geneva (Mullins) Profitt

Geneva (Mullins) Profitt, age 78, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her residence. Geneva was born June 30, 1936 in Lionilli, KY, the 10th child of the late John Mullins and Janie Addington Mullins. Geneva married Howard Profitt on May 26, 1954. Geneva was a 40-year proud and dedicated member of the Fourmile Christian Church.

Geneva is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Rick (Tracy) Profitt and Tony (Robin) Profitt; six grandsons, one granddaughter, and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Aileen (Mullins) and Vernie (Mullins) Jordan; and brother, Martin Mullins.

Along with her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Profitt; sisters, Dean (Mullins) Beatty and Lillian (Mullins) Childers; brothers, Truman Mullins, Raymond Mullins, Milburn Mullins, James Mullins, Noble Mullins, Fearl Mullins and Charles Mullins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson with Skip Domigan officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Buckeye Cemetery in Jackson.
