Evelyn E. Davis, age 85, of Oak Hill, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Oakwood Community in Jackson. She was born Aug. 18, 1933 in Oak Hill to the late John Calvin Jones and Susie E. (Lewis) Jones.
She is survived by her sisters, Annamary (Jones) Anderson, Marilyn Sue (Jones) Keairns; sister-in-law, Sharon Needham, of Oak Hill. Also surviving are four nieces, one nephew and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Orland Jones; brother, Paul Jones.
At her request, her body was cremated. Graveside memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at C.M. Cemetery in Oak Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
