Erma J. Tackett

Erma J. Tackett, age 78, of Jackson, passed away at the Four Winds Community on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. due to complications from COVID-19.  She was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on Sept. 5, 1942 to the late Ballard M. Tackett and Beulah (Mullins) (Tackett) Park. 

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Aldridge, her second husband, Harry Mosier, a daughter, Deborah Rose, and a grandson, Joshua Aldridge.

She is survived by her children: Bradley (Melinda) Aldridge, Laurie Aldridge and Angela Aldridge; a brother, Thomas (Linda) Tackett; sisters: Ivy (Roger) Crabtree and Sonja (Edwin) Simpson; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Erma worked at Goodyear for many years and retired from Meridian.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed decorating her home for the different seasons and holidays.

Graveside services will be held at Buckeye Church Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 21 at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 21 from 12 to 1 p.m.
