Elvarie (Wheeler) Rose, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home. She was born October 6, 1938 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Oscar and Margaret (Adams) Wheeler.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Rose of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Dianna Lynn Walker of Jackson, Ohio; and sisters, Mildred Lee of Shiloh, Ohio and Adeline (William) Dever of Wellston, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, August Winigman; brothers, Oscar Wheeler Jr. and Carl Eber Wheeler; and sisters, Hester Hilderbrand and B. Viola Hood.
Friends may call on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
