Elizabeth Irene “Betty” Williams, age 67, of Pyro, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning, December 10, 2014 at 6:54 a.m., at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 21, 1947 to the late Floyd and Golda (Reed) Carter.
Betty was the most loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was married to the love of her life, Randel “Butch” Williams, on November 9, 1965.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Randel “Butch” Williams, of Pyro; son, Randy (Amy) Williams, of Jackson, OH; daughters, Rhonda (Roger) McGhee and Robin (Ryan) Burton, all of Oak Hill, OH; grandchildren, Erica (Jon Stevison) McGhee, of Jackson, Scott (Shaun Miller) McGhee, of Grove City, OH, Kendra and Kaitlyn Williams, of Jackson and Mikayla and Becca Burton, of Oak Hill; great-grandchildren, Landon, Garrett and Paige Dailey, Braeden, Eli and Casey Stevison, of Jackson; sister-in-law, Charlotte Carter of Oak Hill; and special niece, Joy Aitken, of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by her loving sister, Rosemary (Roger) Kozma, of Oak Hill; and brothers, Forest (Mary) Carter, of Columbus, Cecil (Shirley) Carter, Melvin (Wilmena) Carter, Alan (Faye) Carter, all of Oak Hill.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd, Freddy, Gerald, and Merle Carter. Also preceding her in death were a sister-in-law, Phyllis Carter and nephew, Michael Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery.
