Eileen Woolum, 84, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at Four Winds Community of Jackson. She was born June 28, 1928 in Jackson County to the late Earl and Hazel (Stiffler) Mercer. She was preceded in death by husband, Don Woolum and brother, Don Mercer.
She is survived by sons, Michael (Karen) Mercer of Chillicothe, O., Carl (Sheila) Woolum, Keith Woolum (Lorene Johnston) of Jackson, O., Herbert (Pat) Christian of Ironton, O.; and one daughter, Alicia (Robert) Smith of South Webster, O.; two brothers, Kenneth (Roxie) Mercer and John Mercer of Jackson, O.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 at Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Sunday, June 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Jackson, O., with Pastor Charles Domigan officiating.
