Eileen Beaumont, age 85, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Four Winds Nursing Facility in Jackson. She was born Aug. 9, 1932 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Alva and Lillian Hutton Leach.
Eileen retired as an accountant for the State of Ohio after 21 years. She enjoyed watching the Buckeyes, playing golf, swimming and boating many weekends on Buckeye Lake. Eileen was a member of The Rock Full Gospel Church in Jackson and she absolutely loved Christmas.
She is survived by her daughters: Charlene Radcliff of Jackson, Mary Kathrene Berry of Columbus and Cynthia (Donald) Willis of Jackson; son: Charles (Dorothy) Radcliff of Columbus; and sisters: Shirley Leach of Oak Hill and Jenny Ruth Dawson of Oak Hill. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Richard and George Radcliff; brothers: Bill, Alvy, Delbert, Donald, Fredy and Marvin; and sisters: Helen Cameron and Charlene Swenny.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Adams officiating and burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
