Edna Wylodine (Richards) Taylor, age 87, of Jackson, passed away Friday January 10, 2014 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born June 7, 1926 in Jackson County to the late George W. and Effie E. (Wyant) Lambert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Lambert and Robert Lambert; sisters, Margaret Forby, Rosemary (Mercer) Johnson and infant Florence; and daughter Karen.
She is survived by her children: Robert “Bob” (Debbie) Richards of Jackson, Tami (Andrew) Lanhart of Jackson and Sharon Noel of Chillicothe. She is also survived by sisters: Jean Lloyd of Jackson and Joyce Fraley of Jackson. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and special friend, Sadie Mercer.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 12, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 13 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with brother Dobie Wyant officiating and burial to follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Jackson.
