Edna Mae Pixley Clarkson, age 82, of Jackson, passed away peacefully Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. She was born October 12, 1939, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late William E. and Edna Louella Gee Pixley. She enjoyed walking her dogs, sun tanning, listening to music, dancing, watching westerns, making arts and crafts, fishing and she loved teaching her grandchildren how to bake.
She is survived by her children: Charles Keith Pixley, Bill Elliott Clarkson, Barbara Jean Clarkson, David Allen Clarkson, Beverly Stacey, Brenda Clarkson and Bernadette Howell; brother, Daniel Lewis, 58 plus a few on the way grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Roberta Clarkson; and sister, Mary Browning.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating and burial to follow in the Hamden Cemetery.
