Eddie W. White, age 75, of Jackson, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born March 4, 1936 in Pecks Mill, West Virginia to the late James L. and Drusi (Stevens) White.
He is survived by his wife Betty J. (Miller) White, of Jackson; daughter, Teresa Griffith and son, James W. White. Also surviving are four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three brothers, Sidney C. White, Bobbie G. White and Rexford A. White; four sisters, Minnie Thornton, Mary Kraft, Juanita Sue Blankenship and Janet Lou Watkins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Carl Edward White and two brothers, Richard Lee White and Billy Ray White.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Buckeye Church with Pastor Allie Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Buckeye Cemetery.
