Earlin Lee Costilow

Earlin Lee “Bud” Costilow, age 81, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 24th, 2022, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born August 30th, 1940, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Cecil and Charlotte (Scurlock) Costilow.

Bud worked at the Atomic Plant as a sheet metal mechanic until his retirement. He was previously active in the Black Diamond Lodge #538, Scottish Rite, Shriners, Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Eastern Stars. He attended church at Calvary United Methodist Church of Jackson. Bud enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Auxier) Costilow; sons: Mike (Teresa) Costilow, Mark Costilow, and Mitch (Cindy) Costilow; his daughter, Melody (Toby) Mannering; grandchildren: Tiffany (John) Scowden, Kimberly Costilow, Markus Costilow, Anna (Derek) Creamer, Nathaniel Costilow, Erika McNerlin, Cassie Costilow, Aaron (Rosie) Costilow, Peyton Mannering, Chandler (Seth) Amos, Kerrigan (Eric) Dierkes, Cullier (Harley) Robinson, and Kamden Robinson; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and his brother, Gerald (Rita) Costilow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Alean Blanton, Naomi Starcher, and Judi Ireland; brother, Rudy Costilow; and grandson, Josh Costilow.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 29th, 2022, from 12 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. with Masonic services to begin at 1:45 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Max Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
