Dwight William Kuhn, age 66, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020 at his home. He was born Feb. 11, 1954 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Vera and Josephine Kuhn.
Dwight was a 1972 honors graduate of Oak Hill High School and a retiree from the Jackson County Highway Department.
He was born in a tight-knit family and chose to live a simple life on the family farm. Dwight came from a family of musicians and was a talented guitar player. He enjoyed playing for his family and friends.
Dwight was born with a green thumb and took pride in his garden. He was a big sports fan and especially loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Kuhn of Ridgeville, Indiana and Harry Kuhn (Debbie Sherritt) of Jackson, Ohio; sisters, Janet (Lew) Davis of Jackson, Ohio, Norma (Ralph) McCorkle of Springfield, Ohio, and Joyce (Dean) Osborne of Jackson, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Howard and Clark Kuhn.
Friends may call on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral of Oak Hill. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Oak Hill, Ohio. Per CDC and governor guidelines, masks will be required and practice proper social distancing.
