Dustin “Dusty” Smith, age 33, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Pennsylvania. He was born June 12, 1982 in Ocala, Florida to Roger and Julee (Setters) Smith.
Dusty graduated from South Webster High School in 2000 and was a heavy equipment operator for Capstone Energy Sources.
He is survived by his parents, Roger and Julee Smith, of Jackson; brother, Gene (Kristi) Smith, of South Webster; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend, Marlo Summers, of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sharon (Sherry) Miller and Paul Setters, and paternal grandparents, Eugene Smith and Alma Harrison; and step-sister, Heather Darnell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in South Webster Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
