Donald Dotson, age 65, of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Best Care Nursing Home in Wheelersburg. He was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on June 9, 1950 to the late Rank and Nellie (Coleman) Dotson.
He is survived by his daughters, Helen Dotson (Ricky Holt), of Jackson, and Nellie Dotson (Luke Stevens) of Greenup, Kentucky; 2 sons, Michael (Jamie) Dotson of Pikeville, Kentucky and Bradley (Shelley) Canterbury of Florida. Also surviving are siblings, Ronald (Barbara) Dotson of Wheelersburg, Dallas Dotson of Pikeville, Kentucky and Julie (Randy) Mullins of Pikeville, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with Pastor Burley Muncy officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Saturday immediately prior to the funeral from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m.
