Desi Lynn Wise, age 49, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born April 27, 1970 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late David Leon Freeze, Sr. and Wanda Ann Sheets Kuhn.
Desi attended Jackson High School and then furthered her education by attending Shawnee State University. Desi was a unique individual who enjoyed reading, and she loved her animals.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Wise; fiancé, Chad Gilliland; step-children, Lisa Jackson, Chad Gilliland, Jr. and Isaiah Gilliland; sister, Davene Mae Wells; brother, David Leon Freeze, Jr.; and step-father, Roger D. Kuhn.
Besides her parents, Desi was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald J. Freeze.
